1. Who we are

This website, www.castledesign.in, is run by Castle Design & Modular Studio (“Castle Design”, “we”, “us”), an interior design and turnkey execution studio at B-214, Money Plant High Street, Gota, Ahmedabad – 382481, Gujarat, India.

We decide why and how the personal data described here is used, which makes us its Data Fiduciary under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. This policy covers the website only. If you become a client, your project agreement may say more about how we handle project information.

2. What we collect

What you give us

When you send an enquiry through the contact form, a service page form, the “Book a Consultation” popup or the callback widget, we receive what you type in:

• your name and mobile number;
• your email address, where you give it;
• details about your project — the service you are interested in, property type, carpet area, site location, a preferred callback date and time, and your message.

If you call, email or WhatsApp us instead, we receive whatever you share in that conversation.

What is recorded automatically when you send a form

• your IP address, and an approximate location (city, region, country) worked out from it;
• your device type and browser;
• the page you sent the form from, and the date and time.

When you tap a phone, WhatsApp, email or directions link

To understand how visitors prefer to reach us, we record that the link was used, which link, the page it was on, your device type and browser, and your IP address with an approximate location. We do not record what you then say on the call, chat or email.

How you use the website

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the website is used: the pages you visit and for how long, how you arrived (for example from a search engine), your device, browser and approximate location, and — with Clarity — how you click, scroll and move through a page, which Clarity can play back as a recording. These tools use cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies).

We do not ask for, and ask you not to send us, sensitive information such as financial account details, health information or government identity numbers through this website.

3. How we use it

• to reply to your enquiry, call you back and arrange a consultation or site visit;
• to prepare designs and a quotation you have asked for, and to manage a project if you go ahead with us;
• to send you an email confirming we received your enquiry;
• to keep a record of enquiries so none is lost, including if our email service fails;
• to protect the website and its forms from spam, automated abuse and fraud;
• to measure how the website is used — which pages help, where visitors get stuck and which contact options they prefer — so we can improve it.

We use your details with your consent, which you give when you send a form or contact us, and where the law otherwise allows. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send you marketing messages unless you have asked for them.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the website and respond to you, and only as much as each needs:

• Brevo — delivers enquiry notifications to our studio inbox and the confirmation email to you.
• Clients Now Technologies — our website and lead-management partner. Enquiries and link-click records are passed to their customer-relationship system so our team can follow up, and a copy of each enquiry notification goes to them.
• Google — reCAPTCHA checks that form submissions come from a person, not a bot, and uses information about your device and interaction to do so. Google also serves the website’s fonts and the map on the contact page.
• Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager — Analytics measures visits to the website; Tag Manager loads Analytics and any other measurement tags we set up.
• Microsoft Clarity — records clicks, scrolling and other page interactions as heatmaps and session recordings, masking the text you type into forms.
• ipify, ipinfo.io and ip-api.com — look up your IP address and approximate location, used for the records described above and to preselect your country in phone number fields.
• Cloudflare (cdnjs) and jsDelivr — deliver parts of the website’s code to your browser.
• Our web hosting provider — stores the website and the enquiry log.

If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is also handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms. We may disclose personal data where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or anyone’s safety.

Some of these providers process data on servers outside India. Where they do, we rely on them to protect it, and we will follow any restrictions the Government of India places on such transfers.

5. Cookies

• A session cookie set by this website, used to show you the result of a form you sent and to greet you by name on the thank-you page. It is deleted when you close your browser, and the details behind it expire after 30 minutes.
• reCAPTCHA cookies set by Google when you use a form, for spam protection.
• Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics (names beginning _ga) and Microsoft Clarity (such as _clck and _clsk), which recognise a returning browser and group the pages of one visit. The longest of them last about two years.

We do not run advertising tags on this website; if that changes, we will update this policy. Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although the forms may then not work.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond to you and follow up. If you become a client, we keep project information for the length of the project and for as long as the law requires us to keep business records afterwards. When we no longer need personal data, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.

7. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we have used and shared it;
• correct, complete or update it;
• delete it, unless we have to keep it by law;
• stop using it, by withdrawing your consent — this does not affect what we did before;
• let a person you nominate exercise these rights if you die or become unable to.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will reply within the time the law requires. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

8. How we protect it

The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Enquiries are stored in a location that cannot be reached from the web, and access is limited to the people who need it. Our forms are protected against spam and automated abuse. No method of storing or sending data is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect yours, and we will tell you and the authorities about a breach where the law requires it.

9. Children

This website is intended for adults planning interior work. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
